Learn how to increase attendance at your courses and adhere to PACE provider promotional guidelines with the following information.

Advertise Your Courses for FREE
Effective Jan. 1, 2009, nationally approved PACE providers can advertise courses for FREE on the AGD’s Continuing Dental Education (CDE) Calendar, an online course listing that links to your Web site. To post your courses on the AGD’s Web site, please review the handy Step-by-Step Guide.

Locally approved PACE providers and ADA CERP-approved providers are also welcome to list courses on CDE Source.  To post your courses on the AGD’s Web site please complete this Local Order Form and e-mail it to PACE@agd.org.

Promotional Requirements
Dental professionals, especially AGD members, look for the PACE logo when searching for CE. Including the logo along with complete and accurate information about your course will help you increase attendance.

There are certain requirements PACE providers must meet when creating marketing materials for their courses. In general, providers should avoid misleading statements regarding the nature of the activity or the benefits to be derived from participation.

Other requirements for PACE provider marketing materials include:

• AGD PACE logo with current term of approval
• Course title, location(s), and date(s)
• Description of course content
• Educational objectives
• Description of teaching methods to be used (lecture, participation, or self-instruction)
• Cost to attend the course
• Name of the program provider(s) and contact person
• Course instructor(s) and their qualifications
• Refund and cancellation policies
• Specifics about approvals granted and credits available
• Disclosure of agencies providing financial support
• The following credit statement:
